DESCRIPTION
The SDSC Series are rotary-type heat sealers designed for medium to higher volume production requirements. These units are typically used for conventional carded blisters, but can also be used for applications utilizing Tyvek, foils, and pre-cut laminated film lid stock. These units have six(6)  stations. The large 14 x 18 sealing fixture size maximizes production with multiple "up" capability. The standard SDSC Series features one seal station, and  5 load/unloading stations.

OPERATION
An accurate medium speed, cam drive indexer is used for precision repeatability and is time controlled to pace the operator(s), who load the blister(s), product and card(s) into the seal tools, as they index past their loading stations. The machine can also run single cycle(s) by having the operator(s) depress cycle start button when ready to start each new cycle. Sealing is automatic and controlled by the seal timer.

AUTOMATION
The SDSC Series rotary-type heat sealers are designed to accept automatic card feeding system and automatic finished packaged discharge. Modular plug-in design allows these units to be easily adapted with  six(6)  station rotary-type sealers. Increase production speeds and maximize savings immediately or at a later date as production volume grows. Both systems can feed/discharge single, double and triple rows. The only limitation is card size.

CYCLE SPEED
Medium speed achieves up to 10 cycles per minute

WORKSTATIONS
Rotary turntable design offers easily accessible operator(s) loading station.

TOOLING
Maple die board, phenolic or aluminum, depending upon applications requirements. Expensive relieved Teflon coated hot plate tooling is not necessary but can be supplied to seal the blister flanges only.

CHANGEOVER
Quick locators provide fast tooling changeover.

CYCLE
Single or continuous automatic cycle is standard. When in automatic, cycle is controlled by a dwell timer.

SIMPLE CONTROLS
Cycle start/stop, emergency stop, temperature controller, rotary table speed control and operator keypad interface are all located on the control panel. Remote cycle START/STOP and emergency STOP buttons are also standard on every machine.

RELIABLE
All machine functions are governed by a logic programmable controller.

DURABLE
Frame is a welded steel construction. We utilize locally accessible off the shelf components. All parts are covered by a I -year warranty.

SAFETY
Operator safety shut down platen guard is standard on every machine
